Terms & Conditions of Use – DaiFlo

Welcome to DaiFlo! These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DaiFlo’s website and browser extension (collectively, the “Service”).

DaiFlo provides an internet-of-things (IoT) dashboard interpreter that uses visual and textual information—including screenshots you permit—and processes it through a secure AI proxy hosted on Vercel. The Service uses OpenAI’s API to deliver analysis tailored to engineering roles. Please read these Terms carefully; by using the Service, you agree to be bound by them.
 

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.


2. Eligibility and License
You must be at least 18 years of age or have the legal capacity to enter into contracts to use the Service. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, DaiFlo grants you a non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable limited license to install and use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes.


3. Scope of Service

DaiFlo provides an IoT dashboard interpreter through a Chrome extension. The Service uses OpenAI’s API to analyze textual and visual data, including screenshots taken from your active browser tab—with your explicit consent. These screenshots are processed securely via a proxy hosted on Vercel. DaiFlo does not retain or resell this data. The Service does not collect personal information.


4. User Obligations

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover the source code of the Service.

  • Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purpose.

  • Transmit viruses or any code of a destructive nature.

  • Interfere with the security or proper functioning of the Service.

  • Use the Service in a manner that violates the intellectual property or other rights of any party.

 

5. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and intellectual property rights related to the Service, including the DaiFlo logo and the underlying software, are owned by DaiFlo or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without DaiFlo’s prior written permission.

 

6. Third-Party Content and Links

The Service uses OpenAI’s API and a secure Vercel-hosted proxy to perform AI-powered diagnostics. No other third-party services are integrated. The website or extension may contain links to third-party websites for convenience. DaiFlo does not control and is not responsible for the content or practices of such sites. You access third-party sites at your own risk.

 

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind. DaiFlo makes no warranties, either express or implied, regarding the Service’s performance, reliability, or suitability for a particular purpose. DaiFlo does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error‑free.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DaiFlo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of or inability to use the Service, even if DaiFlo has been advised of the possibility of such damages. DaiFlo’s total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid, if any, for the Service over the prior 12 months, or (b) USD 50.

 

9. Termination

DaiFlo may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms or if DaiFlo discontinues the Service. You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by uninstalling the extension and ceasing to access the website.

 

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Florida for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.

 

11. Modifications to Terms

DaiFlo reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the website. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
